SAMPLE ANNOUNCEMENT SCRIPT | EXAMPLE SCRIPT - (EELU)

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. Peace, blessings and grace be upon our beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW), the leader of both two worlds, his kith and kin and his companions. 

The honorable chief guest, professor M.M.M. Najim, vice chancellor of South Eastern University of Srilanka,  The Dean, Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, Dr,S.M.M.Mazahir, other members on the head table, the Registrar, Bursar, Librarian, Respected Deans, Heads, Academic Staff members & Non academic staff members of the university, Research Scholars, Meadia Personels and my dear brothes & sisters I would prefer to say to you all my Islamic greetings ( Assalamu alaikum…….a very  Good morning to all of you) 

We are all gathered here for the 5th international symposium, conducted by the faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, South Eastern University of Srilanka. This is the most exciting and valuable event of the year. First of all, I’d rather praise and thank almighty Allah for giving me such a good opportunity to be a part of this event. 

With great pleasure and immense mirth I am incredibly privileged at this pleasant day to extend my warm welcome to all who are present here for today’s event. It is indeed a great honor for me to invite you all with my whole heart to the 5th international symposium 2018, such a huge and significant event of the year. 

We really feel honored and delighted to announce the theme of today’s event. It is “sustainable development through Arabic and Islamic Studies. 

Ladies and gentlemen, to start the inaugural session, I would like to call upon Mr T M Muzammil  and Mr N M Misbah to be on stage to recite some verses from the holy Quran and to give the Tharjama. 

          
          I thank both of you for the qirath and Tharjama. 

Following that, to welcome you all this morning I would like to invite DR, S.M.M.Mazahir, Chairman of the 5th international symposium, to deliver the welcome address. Sir, I would be pleased to have you on stage.

The next event of today’s session would be the address by the Chief Guest, I would be pleased to invite professor M.M.M.Najm, vice chancellor of south eastern university of Sri Lanka, to deliver the chief guest speech. Sir, the podium is here for you. 

        We really express our thanks and gratitude for your valuable and inspiring words, sir. 

The next event is going to be a special and memorable awarding ceremony, I would like to kindly invite our chief guest professor M.M.M Najim, vice chancellor of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, to be on stage to award the mementos, and the receivers are : The chairman of the 5th international symposium, Dr, S.M.M. Mazahir, next to the coordinator of this huge event, Mr M.H.M. Nairoos, then the Secretary of this international symposium Mr, M.S.A. Riyad Rooly and finally to the treasurer of this event, Mr, H.M.A.Hilmy.      

         We really express our thanks to you all. 

Let me turn to the next event of the agenda, “a VILLU PAATTU” to be performed by the students of Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, I feel excited to call upon the entire team to be on stage to entertain the audience.

   Yes, that was an amazing culture show, We really appreciate your performance.

Moving to the next event, let me call upon Mr, M.S.A.Riyad Rooly, Secretary of the 5th international symposium to deliver the introductory speech about the keynote speaker. Sir Please be on stage.

Next, I will be pleased to invite, Dr M I M. Jazeel, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, to read out the keynote address proposed by the Key note Speaker, Professor M.A.M. Siddique, Retired professor in oral medicine, faculty of Dental Science, University of peradeniya. Sir, I be privileged to have you on stage.

We have come to the blissful end of today’s Inaugural Session, finally to express and acknowledge our thanks, let me invite Mr,M.H.M.Nairoos, coordinator of the 5th international symposium, to propose the vote of thanks. Sir, I please request you to be on stage

We are here at the end of the Inaugural Session, now It’s time to end this session with National Anthem. Ladies and gentlemen, I kindly request you all to rise for the National Anthem.
