The honarable chief guest professor M.M.M Najim, vice
chancellor of South Eastern University of Srilanka, The Dean, faculty of
Islamic Studies and Arabic Langugae , Dr S.M.M. Mazahir, head, department of
Islamic Studies, M.I.M Jezeel, head, department of Arabic Language, Dr
A.R.Nasaar, inter discipilinary coordinator Mr, M.I.M. Irfan, registrar, bursar,
librarian, respected deans, Academic staff members of the university and my
dear brothers and sisters, I would prefer to say to you my Islamic greetings (
Assalamu Alaikum W W..) good morning to all....
we are all gathered here for the first innaugural session
of the orientation program which is held for the freshers of the Academic year
2017/2018 in the faculty of Islamic Studies And Arabic Language.
first of all, I would rather praise and thank alimighty
Allah for giving me this opportunity to be a part of this event.
with great pleasure and immense mirth, I am very much
privileged and honored at this pleasant day to give a warm welcome to all the
present here for today's event, esepecially the new comers of the academic year
2017/2018.
before starting this session, I would like to call upon a
peron from the neophytes, Al-Moulavi Ijas Ajeen to be on stage to recite some
verses from the holy Qur'an.
Thank you for your recitation.......
following that, to welcome you all this morning, I would
like to invite professor M.S.M. Jalaldeen to deliver the welcome address. Sir,
please be on stage.

The next event of today's session would be the address by
the chief guest, I would be pleased to invite professor M.M.M. Najim, vice
chancellor of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, to deliver the chief guest
address, Sir I would be pleased to have you on the podium.
