SAMPLE PROJECT REPORT | SIMPLE REPORT FORMAT

A REPORT ON THE PROJECT OF TREE PLANTING IN THE UNIVERSITY PREMISES.

 

INTRODUCTION

Trees are known to be as our best friends in our surrounding environment. They help to maintain the bio diversity. Trees are providing food and leaves that serve as food for birds, animals as well as human beings. Tree plantation is good for the environment. Everyone knows that the trees are source of oxygen. They inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen without which the survival of living beings is not possible on earth. Trees are protecting the earth from soil erosion, drought etc. The air pollution can be controlled by planting more and more trees in our society. It gives shade for the people. So it’s necessary to protect the environment by the help of trees. And also it is compulsory for everyone to plant a tree in the society.

BACKROUND

  

We tend to do this research in order to protect the earth, to get fresh and clean air, to reduce waste water runoff and especially to get the feeling of tree shade and beautify our university premises.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

• To control the climate changes through tree planting.
• To develop team work among students.
• To give an awareness to the students about the importance of tree planting.

To reach all of these objectives many procedures were executed by us. They are as follow,

• We planned our tree planting project well and we selected some trees which give shade and which beautify our university premises.
• We selected some mango trees and lemon trees to plant around our university premises and we also selected some particular flower plants to beautify the environment.
• We selected the faculty of Islamic studies and Arabic language premises as our research area.
• We   planned and organized to do an awareness programme about the importance of trees and we did it successfully. We explained those matters to the students clearly by giving some quotes about tree planting. We displayed many card boards which were written with some quotes and hanged them on the trees.
• We planted the shady trees and flower trees in our university surroundings.
• We looked after the trees for three months regularly. We paid a lot of attention about the growth of the trees. Soon after the trees grew we set henchmen to look after the plants and trees now we are paying to them. 

All our procedures were executed successfully by us.

OUTCOMES

• Every one of us has got good and new experiences on tree planting project. And everyone understood about the strength of group activities. Many of the students take decision to plant shady trees among their societies.
• The team members feel very happy as we keep the environment clean and green. And many of the students who are studying at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka know about the importance of trees and importance of tree planting.

CONCLUSION

Trees are our friends. If anybody like to do a social service he can plant a tree in his society. Trees are also a wonderful gift which are given by the god. So, everyone want to know about the importance of the environment. Everyone needs to pay much and more attention on tree planting. It will help to live a happy and calm life.
