PROJECT PROPOSAL

DONATING BOOKS TO AN UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL 

Introduction:
  
We the students of 2017/2018 have planned to collect old books which are thrown away by the people and to donate those books to an underprivileged school. Some people feel dusty pile of books in their room is the main cause to getting nuisances. So they intend to give their books to the groceries or to throw them. It is better to us to donate our used books than taking them away. On another hand, some underprivileged schools are suffering from the poverty which they cannot buy any books by paying money. Considering all of these matters we have decided to do this project.

Objectives:

  • The main objective of this project is to eliminate throwing books away.
  • To save not only the paper ink or the glue but also to save the possibility of studying a new world. 
  • To increase and develop reading ability of students who are studying in an underprivileged school. 
  • To protect the value of books.


Outcomes: 

  • Everyone will be able to have an opportunity to read more books.
  • The people will be given a chance to donate their used books to others. 
  • Whatever we gained from the books will be gained again by other people too. 
  • Students’ reading skills will be improved case by case.  
  • Generating educated and knowledgeable people in the society. 


Procedure:

  • Getting our project approved by our lecturer of ELM Mrs Rifa Mahroof and from the head of the faculty. 
  • Making a notice for the people who have used books.  
  • Collecting those books. 
  • Selecting and underprivileged school.  
  • Choosing a date. 
  • Inviting the head of the department and dean of the faculty to visit the school and donate the books.
